Our Meetings
The Mastic Peninsula Historical Society meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to everyone — members and guests alike. Come see what we're working on, share your own knowledge of local history, and meet your neighbors.
Meetings are held at the Mastic Fire Department, 1080 Mastic Rd, Mastic, NY.

Three nights of fireworks. Fairfield Properties Ballpark, Central Islip. "George Washington" throws the first pitch July 4th.

Freedom Fest 250 with Brett Young
Free concert + Grucci fireworks. Catholic Health Amphitheater, Farmingville. Tickets via MyCountry 96.1.

Oyster Jamboree & Frolic
Harborfront Park, Port Jefferson. 11am–6pm. Long Island oysters, live music, colonial games. Rain date Aug. 16.

Suffolk County 250th Commemorative Fair
At the Manor of St. George on the Mastic Peninsula. 10am–5pm. A must for MPHS members.
